Our application process has been designed to be as effective and efficient as possible. Our aim is to identify the candidates who will guarantee the future of the practice and who will enjoy a successful and inspiring career with us. Application process

When do I apply?

The deadline for training contract applications commencing September 2014 will be 31 July 2012 and candidates should apply after you have your penultimate year exam results.

Interviews will take place late August/early September and training contracts normally commence in the first week of September in the year in question.

What do you look for?

We welcome applications from people with strong academic backgrounds with a minimum of a 2:1 degree (or be on course to achieve a 2:1) as well as good A Level results.

You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a common sense approach. The ability to work within a team and using your own initiative is imperative.

What will the interview be like?

We seek to interview between 20-30 potential trainees. At the interview you will be asked to present for 5 minutes on a topic of your choice. You will be interviewed by the Training Principal Matthew Atkins (Partner) and another Partner and the interview will last approximately 45 minutes.  You may also be required to undertake a written test.

If you are selected for interview we will seek to take up academic references beforehand.
