Ginny joined Birketts in 2008. She is a senior associate in our family and matrimonial team. She is a Resolution accredited specialist in cohabitation disputes and emergency procedures in financial relief.
Ginny undertakes all aspects of family work specialising in high net worth financial cases involving pension and company issues. She also advises on cohabitation disputes and children issues. Ginny has four years' experience as a collaborative lawyer giving her clients the choice to resolve their difficulties in a non-contentious manner.
Ginny is based in our Norwich office.
Ginny is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), an active member of Resolution locally and nationally, and is the press officer for the Norfolk Collaborative Practice Group. She has lectured on Resolution courses to train IFA's advisors in collaborative law and has also been an expert guest on local radio.
Ginny is named as a 'Star Associate' by Chambers [UK 2017]. She handles matrimonial cases, children law matters and disputes between cohabitees. Sources highlight her ability to “reassure even the most nervous of litigant,” adding: “Her strengths are her compassion and understanding, and her ability to express her legal knowledge in a very human manner.”
