Experience
Daden trained with Wollastons (prior to its merger with Birketts) and qualified into the dispute resolution team in 2002. He became a partner in 2011.
Daden specialises in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution. He has experience in disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, corporate and personal insolvency, trading disputes, claims arising from professional negligence and in contested probate matters. Daden also advises clients on risk management and dispute avoidance. His clients come from a wide range of business sectors both nationally and internationally.
Daden is experienced in acting for foreign clients and also in assisting UK clients resolve disputes in foreign jurisdictions via IAG (International Advisory Group International) contacts. IAG is a network of English speaking lawyers, accountants and tax advisors at independent practices around the world.
Daden also has a wide experience of all forms of alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation, and is a strong advocate of the potential benefits of ADR.
Daden is based at our Chelmsford office.
Other Information
Daden was elected to the IAG Committee in May 2011 and elected as secretary in May 2012. He has been co-convener of the specialist litigation group since 2010.
He is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and is currently President of the Mid Essex Law Society.
Daden is described by clients in Chambers [UK 2012] as "highly regarded" and in the 2011 edition as "accessible and knowledgeable".
