Defending Employment Tribunal Proceedings - CIPD Autumn Conference 2009

On 21 October 2009, Birketts LLP’s Employment Team will be sponsoring the Norfolk CIPD Autumn Event “Defending Employment Tribunal Proceedings”, to be held at Norwich City Football Club, offering both CIPD and non-CIPD members practical guidance to handling Employment Tribunal claims.  
 
The Norfolk CIPD is expecting an impressive selection of delegates to attend on the day to listen to Birketts explain what work needs to be undertaken once a claim has been received, how to tackle document disclosure, bundle preparation, and witness statements.  The seminar will also feature in an in-dept analysis of a hypothetical dismissal scenario and the tactical considerations for preparing for a hearing.

The subjects covered at this CIPD event will then become the factual background for a full mock tribunal to be held by Birketts, Norfolk CIPD and the University of East Anglia in April 2010. 
 
The event, which is taking place on 21 October 2009, is a chance for HR professionals to get together and develop their tactical skills at this practical seminar.

The seminar will be open to all CIPD and non-CIPD members at a cost of £35 per ticket for CIPD members and £50 per ticket for non-CIPD members.
