Bhargav Trivedi

Bhargav qualified as a Solicitor in September 2007 and joined Birketts in 2013 having worked since qualification at an International law firm in Norwich and then Cambridge. He is a Partner in our Commercial Real Estate Team and is based in our Norwich office.
Bhargav advises clients on a diverse range of commercial property matters, with specific expertise acting for landowners, developers and promoters in relation to strategic land and development related matters – from conditional contracts, option agreements, promotion agreements and joint venture agreements to landowner collaboration agreements, site assembly projects and buying and selling development land.
Bhargav also works closely with our Banking Team, advising on the property aspects of development and construction finance (including liaison with our Construction and Planning teams), with experience of working with both high street lenders and challenger banks.
Bhargav prides himself on providing sensible, practical and above all commercial advice in an easy to understand format to enable his clients to progress their transactions as quickly and efficiently as possible. Bhargav’ s clients are a diverse mix of landowners, farmers, developers, promoters and house builders.
Bhargav is recommended by Legal 500 [UK 2021]. In an earlier edition he is recognised alongside his team for being “very knowledgeable and able to put complex legal issues in more simple terms; [they are ] very committed, hardworking and personable”.
Outside of work, Bhargav loves living in Norwich (having been born there and returned on joining Birketts) and enjoys playing 5-a-side football and then spending time in the great outdoors – particularly getting to the Lake District (to find some mountains and do some proper hiking!).
