Chris joined Birketts in 2000. He is a partner in our commercial property team.
Chris has a broad experience of complex property transactions including joint ventures, PPP and health sector projects. A large part of his work is development-related (whether acting for developers, funders or occupiers) in addition to advising other commercial clients such as lenders and investors. Chris regularly acts for clients in the public sector, including County Councils, PCTs and Education bodies.
Other Information
Chris is a graduate of Cambridge University and before joining Birketts, worked for a City law firm (where he trained) and subsequently at a large international law firm. Prior to joining Birketts, Chris advised the London Residuary Body for many years and also regularly acted for several London Boroughs. He is recommended in Legal 500 [UK 2010] and in a previous edition, his public sector expertise is recognised and his advice is described as ". . . timely, accurate, excellent, extremely thorough and professional."
