Chris joined Birketts in 2000. He is a partner and head of our property division.
Chris specialises in all aspects of commercial property matters and acts for a variety of investors, developers, landlords, tenants and funders. He trained with Birketts between 1986 and 1988 and upon qualification he joined a city law firm. After a spell working in New Zealand, Chris rejoined the firm becoming a partner in June 2000.

It was noted in Chambers [UK 2009] that his "commercial and measured style, great contacts and superb people skills" make him "one of the best business lawyers in East Anglia" according to clients. In the 2010 edition, he is described as a "versatile and commercially savvy" lawyer, who is commended for his transactional expertise and advice to financial institutions.
