Debbie joined Birketts in 2008.  She is a legal executive in our family and matrimonial team.

Debbie's experience places her in high regard within the legal community. She undertakes all aspects of family work including high net worth financial cases, cohabitation disputes and children issues. She is as adept at representing her clients in court as she is at guiding them through the family Collaborative law process, having trained as a collaborative lawyer in 2005. Collaborative Law is a growing practice in which divorcing and separating couples can work together as a team with their respective lawyers to resolve matters without the need for going to court.

Debbie is very approachable and appreciates the importance of keeping clients well informed and advised throughout the life of their matter. She aims to manage her cases in a methodical, professional manner but with the ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way, and to reach a successful conclusion in the most cost efficient way for her clients.
