Jolyon joined Birketts in 2003. He is a partner and head of our employment team in Ipswich.
Jolyon specialises in all aspects of employment law which can be broadly broken into three main areas; supporting corporate transactions, advising HR managers and directors with the management of their staff and bringing and defending employment related claims to the Employment Tribunal or the High Court. He has acted for many Respondents in the Employment Tribunal and has particular experience with legal action arising out of the enforcement of restrictive covenants and applying for injunctive relief.

Jolyon spent the first five years of his career as a lawyer in London for a 'Magic Circle' firm but before that as an Army Officer with the Royal Tank Regiment.
