Sally joined Birketts in 2006. She is a partner in our logistics and shipping team.
Sally provides the full range of legal advice on all aspects of shipping and international trade, including ship sale and purchase. She qualified as a solicitor in 1994 with City law firm Lovells where she spent the early part of her career. She subsequently worked in the International Trade and Energy Department at Holmans on a number of high profile cases and international deals.
Other Information
Sally speaks fluent Farsi and has particular knowledge of and strong connections with the Middle East. Sally has assisted both Middle Eastern companies keen to do business in the UK and English and European companies wanting to invest in the Middle East and often presents seminars on English law to Middle Eastern companies and individuals and on Iranian business culture to European companies. Her visits there have included two trade missions with the London Chamber of Commerce.
