Experience
Stefan joined Birketts in 2010. He is a senior associate in our construction team.
Stefan has a wide range of experience working on both contentious and non-contentious matters. He acts for a variety of both public and private sector clients, including further and higher education colleges, academies, local investment finance trusts and NHS Trusts, as well as funders, developers, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. He advises on the construction aspects of property transactions and is familiar with all the industry standard forms (such as JCT, ICE, NEC, GC/Works, ACE, RIBA, RICS), as well as regularly preparing and advising on bespoke forms of contract. Stefan has a particular interest in anaerobic digestion projects and has advised various landowners and developers in relation to a significant number of AD schemes.
Stefan has also acted for a variety of clients with respect to all forms of dispute resolution, with specific expertise in conducting and defending adjudications.
Stefan is based at our Cambridge office.
