Experience

James joined Birketts in 2003. He is a partner in our commercial property team.

James has experience in dealing with a varied client base from corporate occupiers to property investment companies, and has gained particular expertise in landlord and tenant law, secured lending and investment transactions. He acts for many corporate clients, both on occupational deals and as the property lawyer within teams working on corporate transactions. A significant proportion of his practice is devoted to advising retail clients in connection with their premises.
