Behind the Sales - a Workshop
Geared towards sales teams of medium to large companies selling both goods and services Your sales team may be effective and reach the sales targets set but do they have a thorough understanding of the contract, your company's terms and conditions and your company's legal position when things go wrong? Often a potential problem can be avoided if the individual negotiating the sale has a proper understanding of how terms are incorporated and what is needed for a contract to be concluded.
Our corporate lawyers are offering a workshop to companies' sales teams covering the basics of contract law. These workshops are tailored to the individual company but would typically involve a 30 minute introduction to contract law followed by a detailed review of your terms and conditions taking, say, three quarters of an hour. Finally, and often most usefully, there would be a question and answer session at which your sales team can seek advice on particular issues which they come across.
Objectives of the Workshop:
• a healthcheck of your company's terms and conditions • an appraisal of your contracting procedures • to identify potential pitfalls and contentious areas between your company and its customers • to offer valuable solutions unique to your organisation

The workshops have already proved very popular.

The workshops can take place at your premises and since you will be given relevant legal advice specific to your business a charge may be made. This will be agreed prior to the workshop taking place.
