Dr Olivia Curno, Chief Executive at Elizabeth Finn Homes said: “We considered a range of potential new owners, but it was HICA’s culture, leadership, and ethical approach that led us to choose them. We are confident that they will continue the warm, person-centred and professional standard of care that we uphold at Elizabeth Finn Homes.
We would like to thank Greg Allan and the rest of the exceptional team at Birketts LLP for stewarding us through this process, keeping continuity and excellence for our residents and staff as a number one priority throughout.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the colleagues, residents and families of Hampden House for being part of the Elizabeth Finn Family for 65 years, for the thousands of lives that we have together changed through our work and the work of our charity owners, Turn2us.”
On the transaction, Greg Allan, Partner in the Corporate Team at Birketts, said: “It was a pleasure working with the Elizabeth Finn Homes and Turn2us team on the sale of Hampden House. The transaction enabled a strategic business disposal for the group to concentrate on their core homes, and a great opportunity for HICA to grow its portfolio. We are delighted to have assisted EFH and Turn2us and the smooth process of this deal is testament to the superb management at EFH and integration of our healthcare team with our clients. We look forward to working with the Turn2us group again on their continuing care services.”
