Birketts has advised Vespa Capital on the sale of Digital Technology Advisory Group Ltd (DTAG), comprising research and insight consultancy 2CV and brand and innovation specialist The Value Engineers (TVE), to UNRVLD Holdings Limited.
Vespa Capital originally backed the management buyout of DTAG in 2022 and has supported the group through a significant period of strategic development and growth. During Vespa Capital’s investment, DTAG streamlined its portfolio, including the successful sale of its data analytics and specialist customer communications business, Signal Agency, in 2025, enabling the group to focus on its core research, insight and innovation capabilities.
The deal sees 2CV and TVE become part of UNRVLD, a digital experience and technology business backed by BGF. The acquisition brings together complementary capabilities across customer insight, innovation, digital transformation and technology, providing both businesses with the resources and platform to support their next phase of growth.
Birketts advised Vespa Capital throughout the transaction. The team was led by Salim Somjee and supported by Harry Close (corporate), Ryan Smith and Karl Pocock (corporate tax), George Hull (employment), and Josephine Bell, Gavin Williams and Devreaux Gravell (banking and finance).
