Natalie is an Associate within our Administrative and Public Law Disputes Team undertaking a mixture of dispute resolution and administrative and public law work, having joined Birketts in November 2021 from a city law firm. Natalie is majoring in Education Dispute Management and Student Issues, Procurement Disputes and Judicial Reviews.

Natalie has prior experience of assisting on matters ranging from historic criminal proceedings being brought against military veterans in respect of their actions during the Troubles to parliamentary inquires. Throughout this work, she assisted in a number of investigations which ultimately challenged the procedural fairness of the pursuit of veterans and Members of Parliament. Alongside this work, Natalie also assisted in contract disputes with a particular focus on the representation of social housing providers.

Natalie has represented clients within both the Queen’s Bench and Chancery Divisions of the High Court, predominantly in the Business and Property Courts but also in the Administrative Court. She has also undertaken work in the County Courts, largely within possession proceedings. She has previously worked for the SRA on intervention matters and the subsequent litigation arising.

Natalie completed her law degree at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2015, and subsequently completed her LPC at BPP in Cambridge.

She is a keen runner having completed the Great North Run in 2019 and an avid Liverpool supporter.
