James Bloodworth

Prior to joining Birketts, James gained a Distinction in both his Legal Practice Course and in his Masters of Law, Business and Management at the University of Law in London, Moorgate. From there, James worked as a Paralegal in the nation’s leading securitisation team.
James joined Birketts as a Trainee in 2021. James’ training contract comprised of seats in Property Litigation, Private Client Advisory, Corporate, and Commercial Litigation.
James qualified into the Commercial Litigation Team in 2023 and acts on a wide range of commercial disputes including: contract disputes, including those arising from share or asset purchase agreements; breaches of trust; shareholder, director and partnership disputes; professional negligence claims and debt recovery claims.
James is based in our Chelmsford office.
Outside of work, James enjoys long-distance running, regularly running anything from 10ks to half-marathons.
