Sarah joined Birketts in September 2016 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified into the Ipswich Corporate Team in September 2018. 

Sarah advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and general company law issues. Sarah has a particular focus on corporate transactional work, regularly advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and the reorganisations of large group structures. 

Sarah has also gained significant experience in working on large cross-border transactions and private equity investments.

Sarah spent a number of years volunteering for the Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality at Suffolk Law Centre, where she advised members of the public on a wide range of challenging legal issues.

Sarah studied Law at the University of Nottingham and achieved a distinction in the Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Outside of work Sarah is a keen piano and violin player, and has performed with various orchestras and vocal groups over the years.
