Georgia joined Birketts in September 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently based in our Norwich office. 

Her first seat was with our Agriculture and Estates Team. Georgia’s experience includes assisting with:

  • agricultural tenancies;
  • farm and land acquisitions and disposals;
  • secured lending; and
  • general estate management matters (such as registrations of land).

Georgia’s current seat is with our Housebuilder Team. In this role, she will perform a variety of tasks relating to:

  • setting up developments;
  • progressing section 278, 104 and 38 agreements;
  • transferring property into management companies; and
  • general plot disposals.

Other Information

Prior to Birketts Georgia graduated from the University of East Anglia with a First Class degree in Law with European Legal Systems. As part of her course, she undertook a year studying abroad with the University of Salzburg in Austria where she developed a basic understanding of German. 

Georgia then went on to achieve a Distinction in the Masters of Laws Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, where she completed electives in Employment Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial Law and Intellectual Property. 

During her degree, Georgia was an active competitor and judge for the Mooting Competition, President of the American Law Society and volunteered with the Norfolk Community Law Service as part of the Welfare Benefits and Tribunal Advocacy Team.

Outside of work Georgia enjoys cooking, skiing and playing badminton.
