Georgia Hunt

Georgia is a Solicitor within the Employment Team, having qualified in September 2022.
Georgia is based in our Norwich office, having joined the firm in September 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor. During her training contract, she undertook seats with the Agriculture and Estates Team, Housebuilders, and carried out two consecutive seats with the Employment Team.
Georgia works with colleagues across the firm assisting with a range of matters for both employers and employees, including but not limited to:
- drafting and advising on settlement agreements, contracts of employment and staff handbooks;
- advising on topics such as redundancy, TUPE and the disciplinary process; and
- assisting with tribunal proceedings.
Prior to joining Birketts, Georgia graduated from the University of East Anglia with a first class Bachelor of Laws degree in Law with European Legal Studies. Georgia’s degree included a year abroad studying European law at the University of Salzburg in Austria. After this Georgia went on to achieve a Distinction in the Masters of Law Legal Practice Course at The University of Law.
In her free time, Georgia enjoys doing yoga once a week with friends, travelling and cooking with her partner.
