Adam Turner is a Legal Director in the corporate team in Bristol, with a strong track record of advising high-growth, technology-focused companies and their investors through multiple funding rounds, acquisitions and exits.
He has particular expertise in the Financial Services Sector and has advised some of Europe’s most exciting FinTech businesses on successive fundraising rounds and successful exits. Adam also works closely with founders and management teams, providing strategic corporate and governance advice as they navigate key stages of growth.
Adam is also experienced in the Aerospace, Defence and Security sector. Having completed a secondment with the M&A legal team of a leading defence contractor during his time at a previous firm, he has developed a strong understanding of the sector and has subsequently advised on a number of notable M&A transactions in the industry.
Recent work highlights
Advising Flock, an InsureTech start-up, on its Series A and B fundraising rounds and an investment from Admiral Group PLC and advising the other shareholders of Flock on the eventual sale of the company to Admiral for an equity value of £80 million (previous firm).
Advising Triver, a London-based FinTech, on its £7 million Seed equity funding round and £14 million Series A equity funding round (previous firm).
Advising Adviser Services Holdings Limited (ASHL) and its shareholders on the carve-out of its wealth management and asset management propositions and their sale to 7IM, a leading wealth manager owned by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (previous firm).
