Fatimah Aswania joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2026 and is currently in her first seat in the agriculture team in the Cambridge office.
In 2025, Fatimah graduated with a law degree from the University of Reading. Alongside her undergraduate degree, she gained valuable legal experience through internships, both in-house and at law firms. During this time, she also competed in negotiation and mooting competitions. She held the role of Student Director of Mooting for the University of Reading 2024/25.
She has completed her LLM in Legal Practice from the University of Law, having undertaken elective modules in advanced dispute resolution, employment law, immigration law and intellectual property and data.
