Fern Field is a Trainee Solicitor completing her first seat in the employment team at the Chelmsford office.
Fern graduated from the University of Essex with a First-Class in LLB Law. Receiving best performing student awards in her Capstone, Family Law and Tort Law modules. Fern has recently completed her LLM studying at the University of Law.
Before joining Birketts, Fern has experience working as a Real Estate Disputes paralegal working on disrepair and residential injunction matters.
Recent work highlights
Starting matters producing pre-action correspondence and progressing into without prejudice negotiations for settlement. One of the highlights of disrepair matters included attending weekly client meetings and processing incoming emails following the meetings to obtain information and updates for both the client and the team.
Highlights for the injunction matters included producing initial notice of acting letters, drafting the statement of case documents and attending court hearings.
