Reading Law at the University of Cambridge, Francesca graduated with a MA (Cantab) degree, and attained a high level of distinction on the LPC at BPP University, Cambridge. Francesca qualified as a solicitor in September 2020 and has since rapidly garnered experience with procedurally and legally complex cases to great success.

At Birketts, Francesca is part of an expert team who are devoted to empathy and integrity in client relations. Francesca provides advice on a wide range of family matters, from nuptial and cohabitation agreements, through to relationship breakdown and finding a resolution for issues arising in relation to finances, children and the necessity for any protective injunction orders. Francesca understands that commercial and practical advice is required in every case, and particularly those where resources are more limited to help parties find resolution in a way that meets their family’s needs.

Striving to provide excellent client care, Francesca always explains complex issues in a straightforward and positive way. In sensitive and difficult situations, Francesca adopts a constructive approach, providing clients with clear guidance and structure through an often-complicated legal process.

Francesca’s reputation has earned her status as a Recommended Lawyer in 2023 Legal 500 rankings. Clients have said about Francesca that “Francesca’s service is superior to many people far senior to her. She knows everything there is to know about her field, is commercially-minded, yet empathetic. Francesca is often known as a lucky charm, as her cases have a habit of finding favourable endings!”

As a member of Resolution, Francesca endeavours to promote an amicable and constructive approach wherever possible.

Francesca seeks every opportunity to help those wishing to read and better understand law, mentoring law students and being a solicitor-adviser for the ARU Law Clinic.
