Gabriella (also known as Gaby) joined Birketts in March 2026 and is a commercial solicitor within the public sector team (qualified March 2025).
Gaby assists the team with a wide range of commercial matters relating to public sector bodies, including reviewing and amending contracts and policy documents, data governance issues including Freedom of Information and Data Protection, and public sector procurement.
Gaby joined Birketts after working for a South East law firm in the corporate and commercial department, where she assisted with mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, drafting contracts and other commercial documents such as licensing agreements, master services agreements, terms and conditions and policy documents. Prior to this, Gaby worked for a prestigious independent boarding school as Compliance Officer and Clerk to the Governors, where she was responsible for managing and overseeing the school’s compliance with various laws and regulations.
