Gabriella Griffiths (also known as Gaby) is a Solicitor in the public sector team, having joined Birketts in March 2026.
She advises public sector clients on a broad range of commercial matters, with particular experience in public procurement, subsidy control and commercial contracts. Gaby’s recent work includes advising on the procurement of a high-value social care contract, drafting the contract documentation, preparing tender materials and advising on procurement compliance and social value requirements. She also regularly advises on a broad spectrum of commercial agreements, including IT, services and grant funding arrangements.
Before joining Birketts, Gaby qualified as a Solicitor in March 2025 at a South East law firm, where she worked in the corporate and commercial team. Her experience included mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and a variety of commercial contracts, including master services agreements, licensing agreements and terms and conditions.
Earlier in her career, Gaby worked as a Paralegal specialising in education litigation. She represented families in SEND appeals before the First-tier Tribunal and developed particular expertise in education, health and social care law.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Gaby served as Compliance Officer and Assistant Clerk to the Governors at a leading independent boarding school, where she was responsible for compliance and governance matters.
