George Mannell joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2025. He is currently in his third seat in the property disputes team in Ipswich where he assists the team with a wide range of contentious property matters.
George’s first seat was in commercial real estate team where he assisted on a diverse range of matters including property transactions, leases, sales and acquisitions.
His second seat was in the construction and engineering team where he assisted the team on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
Prior to joining Birketts, George worked as a senior quantity surveyor within the construction industry, responsible for the management of projects from tender through to final account. George graduated from ARU with a degree in Quantity Surveying before going on to study the LLM in Legal Practice (SQE1 & 2) at the University of Law with electives in Advanced Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisitions and Commercial and International Trade.
