Harry Wakeham joined Birketts in September 2025 as a Trainee Solicitor. He is currently in his third seat in the construction team in Cambridge, where he assists with both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
Harry’s second seat was in the agriculture and estates team where he helped advise on the the acquisition and disposal of agricultural land, farm business tenancies, natural capital projects and land promotion and development.
Harry’s first seat was with the corporate team in Cambridge, where he assisted on a wide range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, as well as investment matters.
Previously Harry had completed the Birketts Summer Vacation Scheme, as well as vacation schemes at two leading London law firms.
Harry has previously practiced in University of York law clinic, helping vulnerable members of the local community on a range of legal issues. He has also spent time shadowing the Chief Coroner for Cambridgeshire.
