Henry Giess joined Birketts as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2025. He is in his third seat in the corporate team, based in our London office.
Henry’s second seat was in the commercial litigation and dispute resolution team, where he assisted on a range of matters, including contested and uncontested debt claims, commercial disputes and claims arising from alleged breaches of restrictive covenants in employment contracts.
Henry’s first seat was with the utilities team, where he assisted with the acquisition of land and the granting of rights over land in relation to the installation and connection of utilities infrastructure.
Prior to joining Birketts, Henry graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Law degree. Henry then went on to study the LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 & 2) at the University of Law in Moorgate, completing electives in Insurance, Employment, Family and Legal Innovation.
