Jake Watts is a Trainee Solicitor in our regulatory and corporate defence team based in our Ipswich office.
His work includes health and safety and environmental investigations, inquests, public inquiries, licensing matters, private criminal defence, motoring offences and financial crime. He also supports with advising organisations, directors and individuals in relation to complex regulatory investigations and proceedings brought by regulatory and enforcement authorities.
His work includes legal research, drafting, evidence review and assisting with the preparation of complex cases. Jake also supports with incident investigations, including matters involving serious injuries and fatalities, by preparing advice, correspondence and evidence for interviews, hearings, inquests and other proceedings.
Before joining the regulatory and corporate defence team, Jake completed seats in agriculture and estates and residential development, where he gained experience in a range of agricultural, rural and development property matters.
