Jessica Dey is a Paralegal in the social housing team, based in our Norwich office, assisting with the defence of disrepair claims and handling anti-social behaviour and possession matters.

She acts for large housing associations and local authorities across a wide variety of social housing matters. This experience has given her a comprehensive understanding of housing law, as well as the operational and regulatory challenges encountered by landlords and within the sector.

She has supported the management of forfeiture proceedings, including liaising with clients and preparing legal documentation. She also provides clients with advice on repairing covenants and related leasehold obligations.

In 2025, she was awarded the Amal Clooney Human Rights Scholarship following a competitive selection process, in recognition of her academic excellence, legal research capability and commitment to human rights. As part of the scholarship, she conducted comparative legal research examining mining regulation in Bolivia and Chile, drawing on first-hand experience gained during visits earlier that year. Her research explored the intersection of international law, environmental regulation and corporate accountability, with a particular focus on sustainable resource governance.
