Thomas Martin joined Birketts in October 2025 as a Paralegal in the corporate team based in the Ipswich office.
He supports the team on a broad range of corporate transactions and advisory matters, including share and asset acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations, and general company law matters.
Prior to joining Birketts, Thomas graduated from the University of Nottingham with a LLB law degree. During his studies, Thomas combined his legal education with editorial and consultancy roles, including serving as Vice President of The Advocate Magazine, Head of Online at Impact Magazine, and participating in the Nottingham Consultancy Challenge.
These experiences helped develop his interest in mergers and acquisitions, company law, and the role that legal advisers play in helping businesses achieve their commercial and strategic objectives.
Thomas hopes to undertake the Solicitors Qualifying Examination as part of his route to qualification as a Solicitor.
