Carolyn qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and joined Birketts’ Construction Department in September 2013. She has experience acting for individuals and corporate entities in a wide range of contentious construction matters, including the recovery of interim / final payments and claims for professional negligence, extension of time, loss and expense and defects. Carolyn has advised on numerous adjudications and Carolyn has enforced adjudication decisions in the High Court.    

Carolyn also advises on non-contentious construction matters, including advising on the risk allocation in standard form contracts and drafting bespoke terms and conditions.  

Carolyn is based in our Chelmsford office.
