Bradley Powell’s appointment, which sees him bring 19 years’ experience and a detailed understanding of the issues facing leasehold enfranchisement clients, takes the total headcount of the specialist team to 11 lawyers (two Senior Associates, four Associates, three Solicitors and a Paralegal, as well as Legal Director and Legal 500 ‘Next Generation Lawyer’, Charlotte Wormstone).
The team works with clients across Birketts’ five offices in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, London and Norwich, not only supporting the firm’s significant Residential Property Team but also as a practice in its own right. The team works hand-in-hand with colleagues who are experts in property litigation, tax, and corporate matters. No matter how complex the nature of a client’s leasehold matters, Birketts is able to assemble a team specifically suited to their needs.
Nicola Lebish, Senior Associate and Head of Enfranchisement, said: “Bradley is a perfect addition to the team and I am excited to work alongside him. His appointment adds another sharp legal mind to those working for our clients.
Our team and the demand for our services has grown at a phenomenal rate in recent years, with the number of clients supported by our lawyers a glowing testament to their expertise in the field. Their hard work and commitment to delivering the high-quality legal advice and service Birketts is synonymous with is something every client will benefit from.
With leasehold enfranchisement, we know one size does not fit all. We provide full-service advice to tenants and landlords and guide clients through lease extensions, right to manage and the acquisition/disposal of the freehold of a block of flats. Please speak to us to find out how we can help you.”
