UK Top 50 law firm, Birketts, toasted its renewed partnership with Kent Cricket at an exclusive summer event at Chapel Down.
As the preferred Legal Services Partner of Kent Cricket for three years and a proud Team Kent Business Club Partner, Birketts reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the local business community through unique and engaging experiences.
Following the previous year’s well-attended event, guests from Team Kent Business Club were invited to the award-winning vineyard in Tenterden, which is Kent Cricket’s ‘Official Sparkling Wine’ partner, on Wednesday 20 August 2025.
Attendees enjoyed a guided tour of the vineyards and winery, followed by a tutored wine tasting. The afternoon concluded with a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie, served alongside a glass of Chapel Down sparkling wine in the Wine Sanctuary, with views across the vineyard.
Salim Somjee, Partner in Birketts’ corporate team based in Sevenoaks, opened the event with a short welcome address. Commenting on the event, he said: “It was a pleasure to welcome so many fellow Team Kent Business Club Partners to such a special setting. Events like this are a fantastic way to strengthen relationships, share ideas, and celebrate the vibrant business community in Kent that we’re proud to be part of.”
The experience also provided an opportunity for informal networking in a relaxed and picturesque environment.
