New Legal Director joins Birketts’ Immigration Team

UK Top 50 law firm Birketts is pleased to welcome Denise Osterwald as Legal Director to its Immigration Team.
Denise has extensive experience in UK immigration, nationality law and global practice management. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2012 she has assisted manage the global mobility programmes of many of the world’s largest organisations across sectors including pharma, financial and professional services, manufacturing and energy.
With a particular interest in working with clients to ensure their employee mobility policies are best-in-class, Denise ensures her clients have solid immigration compliance processes e to protect them from Home Office enforcement action. She is also well versed in supporting businesses through mergers, acquisitions, divestments (including those involving the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Union) and business simplification projects.
Over the years Denise has also advised many high-net-worth and high-profile individuals in relation to personal immigration.
On joining the firm Denise said: “I am delighted to have joined Birketts within the Immigration Team. Having worked for various organisations both as a lawyer and people and operations manager, I have a unique perspective on the issues faced when it comes to clients moving their workforce around the globe, and I hope to bring this level of expertise to my new role.”
