Prior to joining Birketts, Caragh gained an English Literature degree from the University of Sheffield and went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law. She achieved a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at BPP University and undertook electives in Employment Law, Family Law and Advanced Commercial Litigation.
Caragh gained invaluable experience volunteering at Cambridge’s Citizens Advice Bureau as a General Advisor offering a variety of assistance to clients including advice on employment, housing, family and financial issues. Whilst studying, Caragh worked as a Paralegal in clinical negligence. She assisted with both pre-action and issued litigation claims, gaining experience in dispute resolution and developed her own case load. Whilst in the Family Team at Birketts, Caragh regularly volunteered with the Norfolk Community Law Service assisting mainly with children proceedings.
