Ella joined Birketts in May 2025 as a Paralegal in our Social Housing Team.
Ella has four years of experience in a variety of legal roles at several leading London law firms. Her roles have included Conveyancing Assistant, Property Administrator, and various Secretarial positions. She has experience in both residential and commercial property, but most recently, Ella worked in residential development at a leading London firm.
In her role at Birketts, Ella assists with:
- Defence of housing disrepair claims and claims brought under the Environmental Protection Act.
- Supporting social landlords in the recovery of rent and service charge arrears.
- Assistance of possession and forfeiture claims for ASB, tenancy fraud and other breaches of covenants.
- Supporting social landlords with Anti-Social Behaviour and access injunction.
Ella completed her BSc in Criminology with Psychology at the University of Portsmouth and recently studied and completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Law at BPP University. Ella hopes to study the SQE next and to qualify as a Solicitor in the future.
