James has a leading role in our professional conduct and regulation sector, working with Birketts’ team of legal advisers who advise regulatory bodies on the law relating to professional discipline and regulation. Birkerts is one of only three firms appointed to advise the Teaching Regulation Agency’s professional conduct panels.
James has a long and successful track record of advising senior executives in contentious and non-contentious disputes with, and departures from, Board and senior executive positions. He has long specialised in advising and representing top level City employees and smaller corporate clients. James has, throughout his career, used his wide breadth of experience in all aspects of employment law, and detailed understanding of the tactics and concerns of all sides, to facilitate the best and most commercial outcomes for his clients.
