Katie qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 and joined Birketts in September 2025 as an Associate in our London employment team.

She advises both employer and employee clients across a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. Her experience includes handling complex issues such as whistleblowing, discrimination, restrictive covenants, collective redundancies, and TUPE transfers.

She provides end-to-end advice on Employment Tribunal claims, from initial correspondence and ACAS engagement to drafting applications, witness statements, and preparations for final hearings.

Katie also acts as a trusted advisor to businesses, offering strategic guidance on internal processes including grievance, disciplinary, capability and sickness procedures, as well as risk management. She keeps clients informed and compliant through regular employment law seminars and articles on legal developments and case law updates.
