Lauren is an Associate in the London Family Team who joined Birketts in 2019, training with the firm and qualifying in September 2021.
Lauren has experience in advising on all aspects of private family law, particularly when the situation is complex and/or high stakes. She deals with financial remedy proceedings arising from divorce and civil partnership dissolution, predominantly with HNW clients including those with cross-border asset structures, businesses, tax issues, trusts and significant pensions.
As well as financial matters, Lauren has experience with private children cases, Family Law Act applications and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Lauren focuses on resolving disputes as early as possible for her clients and advises utilising methods of Non-Court Dispute Resolution where appropriate.
She also deals with surrogacy, private adoption matters, declarations of parentage, as well as platonic co-parenting arrangements.
Lauren is passionate about pro-bono work and volunteers for the Suffolk Law Centre having grown up in Suffolk and continues to develop this work in London.
