Lauren is an Associate in the London family team at Birketts, having joined the firm in 2019 and qualified in 2021. She advises on all aspects of private family law and is known for her calm, strategic approach to complex, high‑stakes matters.
Lauren has extensive experience in financial remedy work arising from divorce and civil partnership dissolution, regularly acting in high‑value cases involving cross‑border assets, business structures, tax considerations, trusts, and significant pensions. Alongside her financial practice, she advises on private children matters, Family Law Act applications, pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, surrogacy, private adoption, declarations of parentage, and modern co‑parenting arrangements. Lauren focuses on resolving disputes as early as possible for her clients and advises utilising methods of Non‑Court Dispute Resolution where appropriate.
As an elected member of the Legal Neurodiversity Network (LNN) committee and a neurodivergent lawyer herself, Lauren brings both professional and personal insight into neurodivergence, offering a uniquely empathetic and informed approach to cases involving neurodivergent individuals and children.
She is deeply committed to access to justice, volunteering with Suffolk Law Centre and leading pro bono initiatives in London. Lauren was awarded the Pro Bono Champion Award at the Junior Lawyers Division Awards 2025. Beyond her core practice, she contributes actively to the profession through articles, podcasts, and her work with the National YRes Committee.
