Philip joined Birketts in January 2025 and is a Legal Director in our real estate investment team based in our London office.
Philip is an experienced commercial property solicitor who advises investors on their commercial property portfolios, with a particular focus on acquisitions, disposals and asset management.
He also has experience in advising landowners, tenants, lenders and borrowers on a wide variety of commercial property transactions across different sectors, including offices, retail, industrial, neighbourly matters (including rights of light) and renewable energy. Since moving to the UK from New Zealand in 2008, Philip has worked for several leading UK law firms, mainly in London.

Acquisition of multiple units on a newly constructed industrial estate for a purchase price of £30,000,000.
Managing portfolios of London and wider UK properties for livery companies and pension funds including sales, purchases, development and general asset management.
