The Team consists of lawyers who have specialist knowledge and interest in the renewable energy sector. Working closely alongside colleagues within the wider Real Estate Team, our lawyers offer a range of services to ensure the smooth and successful completion of your project.
The Team has specific experience advising on the use of solar, battery and wind developments in real estate projects and can assist at each stage of the project. We also act for several EV Infrastructure providers assisting them with the roll out of their portfolio.
Our services include assisting with site acquisition freehold or leasehold via options or conditional contracts as well as easements and wayleaves. We also assist with financing transactions providing the certificates of title either Law Society Standard or bespoke documents.
We advise on a wide range of developments from community projects such as solar rooftop developments up to large utility scale projects that fall within the NSIP regime which combine several technologies. Our strength lies in being able to reconcile the needs of the landowner with our clients’ requirements for the operation of the proposed project and the funders requirement for providing finance.
