Application Process
When do I apply?
The application deadline for the 2025 Training Contract is 30 June 2023. You are able to apply for a training contract (without applying for our vacation scheme) on or after 1 February 2022. We recommend penultimate year law students/final year non law students wait until they have their results for the current academic year before applying if possible.
What do you look for?
We welcome applications from students/graduates with strong academic backgrounds with a minimum of a 2:1 degree (or be on course to achieve a 2:1) as well as good A Level results (B,B,B or equivalent at A-level). Applications are welcome from both law and non-law students.
You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a common sense approach. The ability to work within a team and using your own initiative is imperative.

All applications for training contracts should be made using our online application system.

What will the interview be like?
We seek to interview between 20-30 potential trainees. You will be interviewed at the office to which you have applied by two partners and the interview will last approximately 45 minutes. At the interview you will be asked to present for 10 minutes on a topic of your choice.
