Tom is responsible for the firm’s strategic development plan.
Tom works with business leaders at Birketts to identify opportunities to grow existing practice areas and to explore the creation of new legal services or business models.
Tom’s remit also includes identifying opportunities to introduce complementary non-legal services aligned to our core legal competences.
In conjunction with our CEO, Tom is active in exploring potential future markets to support the firm’s long-term growth.
Tom joined Birketts in 2009. He is a qualified lawyer and former partner of the firm. Tom’s interest in technology led to him becoming the firm’s Technology and Innovation Director in 2016, a post he held for six years. Tom completed his MBA in 2021 and his interest in business strategy culminated in him becoming the firm’s Strategic Development Director in September 2022.
Tom is based at our Norwich office.
