UK Top 50 law firm Birketts is proud to once again sponsor the Red Rose Chain’s Theatre in the Forest.
Following another successful year of productions, the cast of this summer’s show will be taking to the stage to perform Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Held at an outdoor amphitheatre at the National Trust’s historical Sutton Hoo from 23 July – 23 August 2025, the non-profit community theatre company is expecting an audience reach of more than 8,000 this season.
For more than 20 years, Red Rose Chain has put inclusion and accessibility at the centre of its work, providing a much-needed refuge and giving a voice to the marginalised through high quality arts activities and volunteering opportunities alongside a professional programme of productions throughout the year.
As part of the company’s free ticket programme, it expects to give around 400 tickets to families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis in order to make theatre accessible to those who can’t afford theatre visits.
Jonathan Agar, Chief Executive at Birketts said: “It’s our pleasure to once again sponsor Red Rose Chain’s Theatre in the Forest. We recognise the important work the company is doing to break down barriers and promote inclusivity and are proud to continue to offer our support. We anticipate another fantastic performance this summer.”
Joanna Carrick, Red Rose Chain Artistic Director, added: “We are all so delighted to be continuing our association with Birketts, who are our wonderful sponsors for this year’s Theatre in the Forest at Sutton Hoo. The special thing about Birketts is the way they truly value our community work and its impact on our participants’ lives. We are very grateful to them for sharing our vision and enabling us to bring Theatre in the Forest to life.”
