Birketts’ Charities Team has launched three new Administration and Clerking package options for its grant making charity clients. These new packages complement the existing Birketts’ administration and clerking services available to all types of charities.
The bespoke packages have been launched in response to the impact of the current economic climate on the charity sector and the subsequent increase in enquiries from individuals and businesses looking to set up their own foundations.
From managing all correspondence with grant applicants and sending out notice of trustees’ meetings, to Charity Commission filings and annual legal and regulatory compliance audits, the packages are designed to relieve the administrative burden for grant making charities.

The packages enable grant making charities to choose different levels of service depending on their specific needs and requirements. The Gold package also includes an online secure document management portal, where board papers, minutes of meetings, policies and other key charity documents can be stored and accessed both by the Birketts team and the charity trustees. In addition to general administrative support services, all clients on the Silver or Gold packages can take advantage of additional legal advice services at a discount to the usual hourly rates.
