Corporate Senior Associate appointment announced by Birketts

Birketts has announced the appointment of Rachel Astill as a Senior Associate in its award winning Corporate Team.
Prior to joining Birketts, Rachel trained at a Magic Circle firm in London and also worked as Senior Counsel at the European headquarters of a NYSE listed manufacturing company based in Brussels.
Fluent in French, Rachel has acted for a range of international clients and specialises on a variety of commercial matters including product supply arrangements and transport, warehousing and logistics functions and public company work. In her most recent role Rachel advised managers and business owners on a range of legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and joint ventures. She also specialises in commercial contracts and shareholder and partnership agreements. With over fifteen years’ experience, Rachel is well placed to offer advice and representation in all areas of corporate and commercial law.

Rachel is based in Birketts’ Ipswich office, but will support colleagues across all four offices in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich.
