Tessa Morton

Tessa joined Birketts in March 2010 and is a Paralegal in the Commercial Real Estate Team and has a wealth of experience having worked in the legal sector for over 20 years.
Tessa deals with all aspects of new build developments from start to finish including site set up arrangements, transfers of land to management companies and private individuals along with dealing with buyers Solicitors detailed enquiries, progressing the matters through to exchange of contracts, and dealing with completion and post-completion matters. Tessa also acts on part exchange acquisitions for developer clients, dealing with the requirements from purchase of the property through to Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and registration requirements. She is also involved with the day to day running of our developer clients and their plot sales. Tessa also have experience in negotiating deeds of easements in relation to utility services.
Tessa is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and is currently studying towards her Chartered Legal Executive qualification.
