Rachel Fisher

Rachel graduated with a 2.1 in Law from the University of East Anglia in 2020. Whilst at University, Rachel represented the Law school as the Employability Ambassador, as well as volunteering as a Committee Member for UEA Street Law. Alongside these positions, Rachel took part in UEA’s Advanced Legal Triathlon where she placed 2nd overall.
Prior to joining Birketts she gained experience working in-house as a junior legal counsel for a commercial aviation business. In this role she was responsible for commercial contracts, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and supporting wider areas of the business. Additionally, Rachel has had previous experience as a property paralegal and administrative assistant for a commercial law firm.
Rachel is currently working in our Commercial Real Estate Team as a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice. Rachel undertakes all aspects of commercial property transactions including sales and purchases of leasehold and freehold properties as well as landlord and tenant transactions, and is based in our Chelmsford office.
Additionally, she will be working towards her SQE to become a qualified Solicitor.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys travelling, spending time with friends, and trying new cuisines. In her spare time, she is also learning Spanish and hopes to one day speak fluently.
