Robbie Watson

Robbie Watson qualified as a Solicitor in 2010, specialising in Corporate Tax. He joined Birketts in 2021 and is a Senior Associate in our Corporate Tax Team.
Before joining Birketts, Robbie completed his training contract at the London office of an international law firm. Robbie moved to the PSL Tax team at Lexis Nexis in 2013, where he gained experience in a wide variety of taxation matters through the production and maintenance of legal know-how and current awareness.
Robbie is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians.
Since joining Birketts, Robbie has been heavily involved in M&A transactions, and has provided key support to our Corporate teams on numerous deals. Robbie has also provided employment tax advice in relation to a number of issues, including: salary sacrifice, termination payments and IR35.
